Collage
Guide
A Collage is an artistic arrangement of carefully selected
images. A Collage obeys elements of design and portrays a mood and
theme.
Rationale: A collage
will allow visual learners to focus on images and associate them with
characters and events. Research
demonstrates that synthesizing information, or taking information and creating
new and independent work, increases understanding and retention.
Instructions: Fill at
least one piece of 11x17 paper with at least fifteen images selected by mood or
theme. Label the object of each
image. Use shape, lines, color, and
arrangement to create a mood.
